Well, the time has finally come! In exactly 2 days, (God willing and if all goes smoothly) I will be arriving in Chicago, IL for my first convention-going experience EVER! And which convention should it be? None other than the Gathering of the Gargoyles! Man, I'm so excited I've met several people who are regulars so I'm already feeling quite comfortable. I'm psyched about trying out for the Radio Play, seeing the Anthologies book, taking the trip to the Navy Pier but most of all, to meet all of the guests and the people coming from different cities and maybe even parts of the world to unite as fans of this awesome show

Sadly, however, I will not be able to participate in the Art Show/Contest Since this is my first time @ the Gathering (and @ a convention for that matter), I figured I'd rather feel it out first so that I know what to expect next time when I DO sign up for the Art Show/Contest. Hopefully by next year, I would've improved my artistic abilities, too, so that way I'll be more confident in taking part in a public display of my work If the rumors are true, then next year's Gathering is going to be a BLAST!! I heard it's going to be in LA once again and I'll definitely be going to that one Maybe I'll take a roadtrip to get there? With the increase in fans and new releases of the comics and stuff, the Gathering going back to one of the biggest cities of the world should be amazing. I had read that MANY of the voice actors had attended and the events were a lot bigger, too

Tonight I've gotta buy a couple of extra things @ CvS but tomorrow, I have a TON of things to do before I head out Thursday morning T_T I have to do laundry, pack, clean my room extensively, learn how to put songs on an iPod, get a haircut, have breakfast w/ my friend Heather and make my lil sis a b-day card. My lil sister's b-day falls on the 26th so because of the Gathering, I won't be able to be here for it. But I'll make her a funny card to hold her off 'til then

I have a couple of drawings/gifts that I'm going to try to get done before I leave, too, but we'll see how well that goes

I'll be back to say my final "goodbye" and then it's off I go! By the way, for those who are going to Gathering, if you read this and you bought a Gargoyles shirt from Hottopic, please wear it to the airport or to the 1st day of the convention!! I'll be doing the same and a couple of others, too, so that this way, we can locate each other from the crowd and mingle, if you'd like ^_^

Well, my older sister Julie just left to drive back to Tampa. She came down to visit for a couple of days and it was fun This morning, she woke me up to ask me questions about my future and what my plans are for myself. She always has to play '20 Questions' w/ me and honestly, I hate it. She's one of those people that believes everything is just so easy to accomplish and college is the most important thing in the world. We're two totally different people when it comes to priorities. While Julie was talking to me, she got too emotional and started saying that she's worried I'm not going to do anything with my life. I got annoyed really fast but eased up and we just changed the subject because any conversation concering my plans/future/etc. is very sensitive to me and I prefer not to talk about it. It's not like I don't want to pursue some type of career, but seriously - it's not that easy for me. I just want to work, save money and when I meet a certain goal, I'll figure out what I wanna do. But when I have these kind of conversations, I seem to be led to think that I'm not doing well for myself now and I should be doing something else. I dunno...

Anyway, enough of that! Has anyone ever seen that USA original movie, "Cabin by the Lake"? Yeah it's very old, but I remembered a beautiful song that played while the killer and his prized anticipated victim were having a silent moment through a 2-way mirror. The song's so beautiful and I was so happy when I finally found it! *sigh* I love music and this amazing invention called the Internet that I could use to look these things up Lately I've been delving into my Silent Hill obsession and I just can't stop thinking about Henry Townshend and his role in Silent Hill 4: The Room. I'm slowly creating a fanfic in my mind, I have some ideas brewin' for some fanart and guess what? I'm even thinking about creating a Silent Hill 4/Henry Townshend AMV Hmm Bet you guys can guess which song I'm gonna use ^_^

Whee! The Gathering of the Gargoyles is next month and I'm soooooo excited! I'm still getting some artwork done but I'm also starting to wonder if I should lighten up my anticipated load. I had all these ideas for fanart but as the convention's date comes closer, I'm starting to wonder if I'll even be able to do it all I think I'm going to think of a couple of ideas that I know I can draw well and within the timeframe instead of the epic kinda drawings I was going for T_T It sucks, but it doesn't mean that I won't create them ever We'll see how things go! I'm just gonna continue what I'm doing and think of how I can help get started on some stuff, too My apologies for not being so active here on DA in terms submitting any new stuff >_< But as soon as I get back from the convention, I'll be free as a bird to draw all sorts of stuff! Including more Street Sharks and a brand new theme - Silent Hill! I'm tired of having these other ideas swimming around but not having enough time to get them all down T_T As Xanatos would say, "Soon, my people, very soon!"

...who reported my colored Street Sharks Streex x Shark Girl to DA, you're a douchebag Honestly, if there's something that you know you're not going to like on my page or anyone's page, then don't freakin' click on it. Does anyone remember that picture I colored of the 2 SS sharks 'doing the deed'? Well, you can't look @ what I mean now because the picture was removed by DA thanks to some wiseass whose nose started bleeding after seeing it. But anyway, there were no "parts" exposed whatsoever but of course the deed was implied by the position of the characters. *shrug* If you're a little kid who's not supposed to be looking at that stuff, then don't and if you're an adult who doesn't want to look at that stuff, then don't. Just don't look. How hard is that? Trust me, I have seen FAR worse things around here on DA and do I report them? No, because if that's something they drew, colored, etc, that's their business. Nudity is art, sex can be art, and *gasp* yes, even hentai is art. For those of you who are adults, yes you have seen, done, been experienced to sex in some shape, way or form so don't play stupid. Do yourself a favor, hypocrite. Don't make out w/ your man or girl, then go online and freak out when you see it.

Sex is everywhere, whether you like it or not, and in today's industrial world, it sells. I'm not promoting free-for-all suggestive artwork or activities. But if you're going to report me, at least have the testicular or ovarial fortitude to send me a note and solve the problem with me. I'm not a mean person and I can be extremely understanding; most likely I would've taken care of the Deviation if it bothered a ton of people. But no, someone had to pull an immature stunt like going behind my back and reporting me just because they intentionally looked at a picture that they KNEW they supposedly weren't going to like and said, "Hey, this is something that would normally be categorized as immoral and bad by society. I shall stick my nose where it doesn't belong, be an immature ass and report this person who I don't even know instead of trying to solve it with her personally." Although I normally don't look @ sexual material either, I know I don't have to and you don't have to either. Remember: you CHOSE to look at it! Does anyone remember last week when some uploaded a pornographic photograph on DA as a joke and filled their page w/ all these obscene comments and words? Okay, at that time, yes I did report them because THAT was inappropriate b/c it was REAL people doing REAL deeds and yes, if someone's going to remove a picture I COLORED, then damn right I'm going to report that photograph!

For some strange reason, I thought the "Does this contain adult material?" option on the 'Deviation Upload' page was supposed to mark your drawing as unviewable by members under 18, but apparently I was wrong Well, guess what? I'm not going to draw little flowers and sunny skies for those people who have closed minds and fixed ideologies who think something is offensive to them personally. I'll continute drawing and COLORING whatever the hell I want, and if you don't like it, then close your eyes and stay the hell away from my page. And if you wanna fight about it, then go start a damn petition or something

Hello everyone How are you all doing? I'm doing all right, a little pumped even though it's 1 in the morning over here LoL Why am I energized? 'cuz I'm anxious to start my gym routine tomorrow! Yep, you heard right. Tomorrow, I start going to the gym so that I can have a voluptuous body in time for the summer. Over the last 2 years, I've been putting on the pounds due to slight depression and stress. But I'm ready to get back on my feet (literally) and start looking up to the sky for a brighter future! It's gonna be tough at first, but by next week, I'll be used to my routine and everything will be dandy

Let's see...I'm working on artwork to showcase @ the Gathering this summer and so far, the sketches are coming out very well. I hope that by exercising more, I'll have extra energy to increase my progress and also, to create more work. I'm so excited about the Gathering! It'll be my first time going and I can't wait to meet everyone and participate in the fun events they have planned My good friend Afton (=Blahism) will be coming with me and it's also her first time going to a convention so it should be an exciting journey for the both of us I'm especially excited about the artwork she's got planned for the Gathering as well, and just her new art in general! The other night, I went over to her house to join her in watching her hubby play Condemned 2 on the Ps3, which was a blast cuz we all just kept making fun of the game and creating our own storylines Anywho, Afton showed me a couple of pieces she's working on and lemme tell ya, that girl is so talented! Her art fills me with bunches of glee

My birthday was a couple days ago on Sunday. Didn't do much, just worked but I got the most lovely surprise when Afton showed up with a gift: 2 kneaded rubber erasers and a paper stump (compliments of her and her hubby)! I was so happy Afton showed me really neat tricks with these tools and even offered to help me w/ personal tutorials. I wuv her, she's such a sweetie I had a chocolate ice cream cake, got a really sweet card from my fam and a couple of phone calls and Myspace birthday comments from close friends. My mom also ordered a kick-ass Lexmark printer/copier/scanner/fax combo for me, which I really needed cuz the printer/scanner I have now is a piece of shit that doesn't work and takes up about 3/4 of my room >_< So yeah, I'm happy

Okay, I know that those who've entered my contest are just dying for results, and I know I may seem a bit hesitant to just close it already. But I have one more contestant who's still working on hers and I wanted to give her a little more time. But for sure, the deadline is going to be this Friday, April 18 and no later! I hope that's okay Last week, I finished putting together a mondo care package to send off to one of my best friends who's in the Marines and stationed overseas now. Even though Stuart just asked for ranch Doritos, photos of Key West and some shaving stuff, I went all out and got him a WHOLE LOT more than that! I sent letters from teachers he loved from high school, CDs, movies, a CD player, pens/paper/envelopes, a Moosh pillow, batteries, cleaning stuff, and I even made him a bracelet from a local beads shop to remind him of me. I sent a bit more stuff along with all that, but in short, I really hope he likes the package he gets ^_^ Long ago, Stuart and I dated in 8th grade for a bit, but even though we haven't been a couple since, we've always had feelings for each other afterwards and still do to this day. I hope when he gets the package, he realizes how much I love and care for him as a friend. It's just such a relief and a good accomplished feeling to finally have it sent

Also, I'd like to apologize for not being very active on uploading any new artwork. I am creating new pieces and have some near completion. But I've noticed that sometimes, I'll be working on something but towards the end when I'm about to be finished, I'll rush just to get it uploaded to show it to my friends. So yeah, I'm taking my time cuz I want to give each piece my 100% Sorry it's taking long, but I promise, I'll have new pictures up in due time. Please be patient with me I know a couple of people some gifts and I promise I'll get those to you ASAP!!

Okay, well that's about it! I need to take the trash out now and hit the sack so I can get up early enough to begin my exercising routine
